Mont-Saint-Aignan is a commune of the Seine-Maritime département, in the
Haute-Normandie région of France. It belongs to the Communauté d'agglomération
Rouennaise, created in 2000. It is a satellite town of
Rouen high up on an escarpment overlooking the River Seine about 60kms south of
Dieppe. It is a modern area with universities and technology parks close to
forests. It has a population of 21,000, making it somewhat bigger than Edenbridge.

Mont-Saint-Aignan is a city of manageable proportions which has succeeded in reconciling economic development and quality of life.
